Highlights
of the company’s history:
- Founded in 1968
- In 20 years, BGR Saws’ production area has grown from 12,000 sq. ft. to 70,000 sq. ft.
- $3 million in investments in 2004 to gain full control of steel processing:
- Purchase of all necessary machinery to integrate heat treatment
- Hiring of a metallurgist
- Opening of a sales office and warehouse in the southeastern United States and on the Canadian west coast in 2004
- Substantial boost in storage capacity in Bossier City, LA in 2005 and 2006 •
- $3 million investment in 2006 for band saw production
- Purchase of a water jet machine
- CNC sharpener
- Secondary heat treatment
